McLovin. The Artist
The absurdity and loneliness of life. Observed with humour through bold, fun installations.
How we interact with objects, other people and ultimately ourselves. Challenging what is considered normal: the personas and masks we display to attempt to fit in.
Acknowledging the rarity and vulnerability of revealing our true selves in a society that prioritises etiquette, popularity and avoidance of "failure" - above authenticity, openness, kindness and honesty.
McLovin a permanent name change as a monument to their work around persona & societal norms.
McLovin achieved a Fine Art BA (First Class Hons) and Master of Fine Art between 2020-2026.
Currently under consideration by major galleries.
